Amongst many other aspects the tuition touches on elements of playing such as time keeping, rudiments, rock drumming, jazz drumming, improvisation, African rhythms and focuses on developing individual technique.

Students are placed in the most appropriate class for their ability and all are welcome. Each of the classes has evolved to suit the requirements of the students.

Beginners

Currently, students are learning the basics of playing the drums, including rock rhythms, drum fills and useful practice experience.

Intermediate

Soul and Funk influences are being explored in this class at the moment, as well as continuing rudiments and practice exercises.

Advanced

Rhythms drawing from Jazz and African influences, as well as 70's rock styles, are currently challenging the students.
